I've been even slower than usual recently having endured two bouts of man flu or similar. The progress I have made is very pleasing - a bothy in 4mm from Intentio has had much paint and washes and begins to look the part.

34. Bricks

33. A still small voice saying “Wantage…”
Some movement on the workbench recently.
Coales Mill Yard - 2mmFS - has had work on the sector plate thingy, and the path of the through road more or less finalised. New brick paper was received very promptly from Scale Model Scenery, it’s nice and dark, dirty, so I’ll use it for some of the older buildings, which should give some nice variation.
Johnstone’s Wharf - EM (probably) - is still bubbling away mentally. I have also purchased a small rural store building in 4mm from ScaleModel Scenery, and a more modern bothy building as found all over BR from Intentio. This will be a new development for me with bricks pre-engraved into the kit.
Just about everything else is stuck waiting for painting or money or both!
Creative thinking is rife however, my head won’t let go of Wantage, not helped by James Hilton and AdeMoore over on Western Thunder, and it’s getting muddled up with Wisbech and wants to be in the Fens….
Update
Buildings are both in hand, some painting has been done…..
